Carly Brown

Carly is a skilled, enthusiastic, aspiring Dance Practitioner, who has idolised the art form from a very early age. She is committed to broadening her knowledge of Dance Education and developing her skills. Carly sees Dance as both Fun and Inspiring. She encourages the idea that dance should be made available to the public regardless of age, background or abilities. Every individual should be given the opportunity to see, make and take part in dance, with its ability to transform and inspire.

Carly’s extensive and specialist dance training began at an early age, studying Classical Ballet and Tap. She attended the Susie Earnshaw Saturday theatre school and latterly attended musical theatre classes at Mount View Academy. Alongside this, she received outstanding grades in both GCSE Dance and Btec First Diploma. She successfully went on to study the Btec National Diploma in Performing Arts, majoring in Dance. Carly was awarded a BA Hons in Dance Education from Canterbury Christ Church University. Whilst studying for her degree, She also competed in the Kent National Championships where she was a two time winner in Contemporary Dance. Carly feels that working for Non Stop Action will fulfil her career path in dance and education as her ultimate aim.
