WHAT SCHOOLS SAY

Sacred Heart Primary School.
Non-stop action have been providing PE coaching and CPD for us at Sacred Heart for over 14 years. They provide well planned lessons which closely follow the National Curriculum and are delivered by enthusiastic and engaging staff. Their coaches are well trained and highly skilled. They are always professional in their interactions with both staff and pupils. Our pupils love their PE lessons and look forward to them every week. They have also provided CPD for gymnastics and dance for our own teachers across a number of years – this expert training has been invaluable in raising staff knowledge and confidence in teaching these strands.

St Martin of Porres
The Non-Stop Action Team have transformed the way in which PE is delivered in our school. With their organisation and commitment to providing the very best for the children in the schools they work in, the staff have become inspirational role models for our children – teaching them PE skills and passing on positive attitudes towards healthy living and exercise. Our pupils always look forward to their Non Stop Action PE sessions and, for many, it has become the highlight of their week. The school staff have enjoyed learning from the PE specialists and now feel far more confident when teaching PE themselves. We wouldn’t be without the Non-Stop Action Team now and are delighted to be one of the many schools that benefit from their skills and expertise.

Stag Lane Primary School
Putting your trust in a new sports provider for your school can be a daunting prospect. Change can be challenging but the staff and coaches at Non Stop action have made the changeover a proverbial “doddle”. The management team have been professional, flexible and accommodating to our schools needs and are always available and on hand to help with any questions or queries. NSA provide high quality teaching and learning for pupils, structured lesson planning and assessment as well as up to date training and monitoring of their staff and coaches. They have a universal behaviour management and rewards system across all coaches and schools in order to maintain consistent high expectations and standards of behaviour for learning in class. Coaches are highly skilled and resourced and professional in their manner with both children and staff.
Feedback from all our staff and pupils has been more than complimentary since making the switch and I much confess, we couldn’t be happier we did!
PPA

The engagement of children in Sport and PE is essential to making children physically literate for life. Our specialists strive to create a positive environment for learning in all our lessons. We offer Dance, Gymnastic and outdoor sport units for the EYFS up to KS2. We aim to mirror the experience the children get in the classroom in our lessons, by including:
Focused learning objectives and success criteria for children to track their own progress
Frequent opportunities for peer and self-assessment
The use of ICT/technology within our lessons
Differentiation and challenges to meet the needs of all children
Clear structured behaviour management strategies that work in partnership with your school’s own system
Our PPA package not only includes the experienced teachers and high-quality lessons we provide, but also provides:
Half-termly assessments which are analysed and moderated

We use an evidence-based approach enabling schools to easily measure the impact of their PE and Sport Premium spend.

Pupil assessment data
Reports at the end of unit detailing the impact of the CPD training
PE & Sports Premium

The PE & Sports premium shows us that this area is a clear priority for the government. For the academic year (20-21), schools will continue to receive the doubled funding, with the following aims:
To increase the engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity
To raise the profile of PE and sport across the school as a tool for whole-school improvement
To Increase confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport
To broaden the experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupil
To increased participation in competitive sport
Also, due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, the department for Education has relaxed the ring-fencing arrangements for the PE and sport premium grant for the 2019-2020 academic year, to allow any unspent grant to be carried forward into the 2020 to 2021 academic year.
For more guidance on how to spend your PE & Sports Premium, see the government website: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/pe-and-sport-premium-for-primary-schools
We offer a range of different services and products that help schools to meet these requirements, including:
Teacher CPD
Extra-curricular clubs
CLUBS

Schools can either retain all aspects of the administration of the club, including registers and collecting payments, as appropriate. Alternatively, you can hand over all the administration to us. We will collect payment and registration details through our purpose-built online system, dealing directly with parents.
Whichever, the school chooses, they have the peace of mind of knowing that a well-qualified teacher will deliver a high-quality session to build a club that minimises cost and maximises participation. Our clubs can even provide an income for the school.
